Studio

James has a custom built residential studio, based in a 19th century Victorian Bank, in Hull, UK.

The studio has a unique feel with natural light throughout, a 7m x 4m live room, amp room, vocal booth and control room.

The acoustically treated control room is equipped with ATC Monitoring, a vintage analogue desk, classic outboard gear and state of the art audio software.

A wide array of instruments are available to use - including a Young Chang grand piano and a selction of drums, percussion, guitars and amps.

Accommodation

The accommodation includes a kitchen, bathroom, two bedrooms (2 x double beds + 1 single bed) and a lounge area.

James Kenosha is a record producer and mix engineer based in Yorkshire, UK.

With over 800 million streams and a No. 1 album mix credit (Pastel - 'Souls In Motion'), James has a wealth of experience producing and mixing bands and solo artists across a wide range of genres.

Gaining experience working alongside legendary producers such as Steve Albini, James Ford and Simone Felice, James has developed a deep understanding of audio and combines his technical skills with a genuine love of music to create records that feel big, warm and emotionally resonant.

James started his career as a session drummer and gained recognition producing and mixing albums for bands such as Grammatics, Pulled Apart By Horses, Dinosaur Pile-Up and Dry The River.

After producing the debut album 'Wishes' by RHODES and working with artists such as Birdy, Gavin James and Cian Ducrot, James became a sought after producer/mixer, now working with artists as diverse as Charlotte Plank, Isaac Levi, Oliver Pinder and Len Blake.

Now based in Hull, James works from a custom-built residential studio, housed within a 19th-century Victorian bank.
